Spaghetti Squash And Meatballs

Ingredients

1 medium spaghetti squash

½ lb. ground Italian sausage

1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce

4 to 6 cloves garlic, whole

2 tablespoons olive oil

Oregano, basil, and thyme to taste

Directions

Add the tomato sauce, olive oil, garlic, hot pepper relish and Italian seasoning to the slow cooker and stir well. Cut the squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Put the squash halves face down in the slow cooker.

Roll the ground sausage into meatballs, then place the meatballs in the sauce around the spaghetti squash. Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 5 hours. Use a fork to pull the “spaghetti” out of the squash. Serve topped with the meatballs and sauce. Makes 4 servings.
